Agitated Pressure Nutsche

Agitated Pressure Nutsche Filter. This filter was developed to address safety concerns due to solvents evaporation, as filtration under vacuum or pressure can be carried out in a closed vessel. It consists of a dished vessel with a perforated plate. The vessel, when designed for vacuum or pressure service, is leak proof, and can be maintained at a desired temperature. An agitator keeps slurry contents fluidized until material is filtered through and helps to maintain a uniform cake. After washing and refiltering, the cake is discharged by lowering the agitator and rotating it in such a manner that all cake moves towards the discharge port.

Agitator Mixer. These mixers are devices that employ one or more impellers, mounted to a center shaft, and driven by a motor. The shaft and impellers are placed into the media to be mixed by the rotating impellers, much like a top-fed home blender. Sizes range from small hand-held mixers to large permanently mounted units used in heavy industries, such as mining, pulp and paper, and heavy chemical processes. Design types and materials used depend upon the media being blended.

Air Cooled

Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers. These are devices for rejecting heat from a fluid directly into ambient air, instead of rejecting heat to water and then rejecting it to air, as with shell and tube heat exchangers. They do not require water. They may be as small as an automobile radiator or large enough to reject heat from a power plant. They require, at a minimum, one or more bundles of heat transfer surface and air-moving devices, such as a fans or blowers.

Air Diaphragm

Air Diaphragm Positive Displacement Pumps. These positive displacement pumps use the reciprocating action of a flexible diaphragm to pump a fluid. Diaphragm pumps are defined by the manner in which the diaphragm is flexed. The air diaphragm pump has its diaphragm flexed by variations in air pressure. When the diaphragm moves up, the pressure in the chamber decreases, and fluid is drawn into the chamber. When the diaphragm moves down, the pressure increases and fluid is forced out of the chamber.

Air Handlers

Packaged Temperature Controllers. Modular, transportable, self-contained, air temperature control systems used for event and construction heat applications. They provide accurate temperature control and air handling for large capacity temporary heating applications. They are designed to withstand the wear and tear of construction sites and the rental market. Their larger heat capacity and higher air volume fill the gap between small, portable air heaters and the large, fixed commercial air handlers used for permanent installations. They are used to provide temporary comfort heat at large capacity special events, comfort heating during commercial construction, and for curing plaster and drying paint in commercial construction.

Air Separators

Air Separators: Air separators are used to remove air contained in the liquid piping systems. The air discharge capacity of these devices is high. They are capable of removing automatically all the air present in a system, some down to micro-bubble level. The circulation of de-aerated water enables equipment to operate free from any noise, corrosion, localized overheating or mechanical damage.

ASME Vessels. Generally refers to pressure vessels and alloy high-pressure vessels, the design of which conforms to specifications, materials, and requirements of pressure vessel code adopted by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. A pressure vessel is a closed container designed to hold gases or liquids at a pressure that is different from the ambient pressure. These vessels, usually cylindrical, have a body with end caps, called heads, fitted to the ends of the body. Pressure vessels are designed to operate safely at a specific pressure and temperature, referred to as the "Design Pressure" and "Design Temperature".

Assembled Industrial Control Panels

Industrial Control Panels. Control panels are flat, typically vertical, areas where control or monitoring instruments are mounted and displayed to provide convenient and centralized location for operating various equipments. They are factory wired assemblies of industrial control equipment such as motor controllers, switches, relays and auxiliary devices. The panels may include disconnect means, and motor branch circuit protective devices. Control panels may also include enclosures which are intended to house open type industrial control panels or individual items of industrial control equipment.
